We enter this quarter with great expectations after having been selected as one of the providers that will carry out translations on general subjects for the Translation Centre for Bodies of the European Union. This quarter will also see the implementation of the web version of the collaborative translation system used by AbroadLink: memoQ.

AbroadLink will translate to Turkish and Arabic for the EU

Last July, AbroadLink was one of the suppliers selected by the Translation Centre for Bodies of the European Union as the result of a tender for translation into Turkish and Arabic on general subjects affecting European Union institutions.

July 2015: historical high for Spanish exports

In July during the third quarter of the year, Spanish goods exports increased by 8.9 % in inter-annual terms, reaching 23,507.9 million euros. This represents a new historical monthly high for exports and exceeds the previous record which also occurred this year (March 2015: 23,218.3 million euros).

Collaborative translation in real time from a web interface with memoQ

Thanks to the programme TIC Cámaras, AbroadLink will finance the purchase of the web version of memoQ's assisted translation system. This will give us the capacity to simplify the management of large collaborative projects.

Did you know...

Written Russian adopts the Cyrillic alphabet which was invented by a missionary of the Byzantine Empire during the First Bulgarian Empire. It is based on the Greek alphabet with Glagolitic characters (the oldest known Slavic alphabet).
