AbroadLink exhibits in Medica 2024
This year we give a step forward: AbroadLink participated as exhibitor in the most important medical technology event in Europe for 2024: the Medica trade fair in Düsseldorf.

Hall 13, Stand B13: service providers for MedTech Companies
We were located in Hall 13, titled “IT Systems and IT Solutions”, where the majority of service providers for the medical device industry are placed in Medica. We were in one of the ends of the hall, next to the entry door for Hall 14.
More than 5100 companies from 72 countries
A lot of companies for all over the world visit Medica every year as a meeting point with customers so as to find new providers. We counted 5154 companies. The most represented countries were China (1223), Germany (613), USA (357), Korea (323), Italy (322), Taiwan (279), Turkey (223) and France (175), but we could also find some exhibitors from more exotic locations such as Senegal, Puerto Rico, Kazakhstan or Sri Lanka. Regarding the Chinese presence, we found that many German companies were actually run by Chinese people and owned by Chinese companies. We cannot say what percentage of companies incorporated in Germany were Chinese companies, but certainly we need to add a few more companies to the figures given in the paragraph above to China and subtract them from Germany. Below you can see a table with the number of companies per country and its percentage with respect to the total number of companies:
AbroadLink’s Raffle left some happy winners behind
As part of AbroadLink’s promotion efforts, we made a raffle giving a way 3 splendid Samsonite backpacks, so we left some people with very happy smiles and a brand new back-pack. Here the happy winners of our Medica 2024 raffle:

20 kilos of coffee in 4 days!
We are also proud to have contributed to people’s awareness and focus on the trade fair by giving away Italian coffee to any of those who need it! During the event, we spend 20 kilos of coffee that translated into almost 2000 coffee served!
