Looking back on AbroadLink’s 2025

Published on 12/01/2026

In 2025, AbroadLink strengthened its position as a leading translation company specialising in the medical and MedTech sectors in Europe.

In a context marked by the surge in publicly accessible AI translation tools, we not only maintained our position but also increased our turnover. This growth demonstrates that beyond technology, human added value, expertise, and quality remain decisive factors for clients.

Why is AbroadLink’s 2025 a promising sign for 2026?

We closed the year with a strategic project worth over €100,000, reflecting our clients’ trust in us for sensitive content where linguistic accuracy and regulatory compliance are essential.

Meanwhile, our presence at major European MedTech events allowed us to further consolidate our position as a trusted partner in medical translations. Finally, 2026 is getting off to a fresh start internally with the arrival of Andrea, who will oversee administrative management, to support our growth and further improve our service quality.

How does our 2025 turnover demonstrate AbroadLink’s stability?

In 2025, AI translation became omnipresent, with increasingly powerful and user-friendly tools available to the public. It would have been reasonable to have expected a decrease in activity for a translation company like AbroadLink.

In practice, the opposite was true. We experienced:

  • An increased turnover
  • More technical projects
  • Greater demand for expert revision of AI-generated translations

Many of our MedTech clients in France, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland soon realised that AI alone was not enough for their regulatory documents, medical device instructions, or quality-related content.

Why do our clients continue to favour human expertise?

Our clients must protect their image, credibility, and the quality of their communication across all markets. A translation error can result in:

  • Damage to their brand image
  • Inaccurate localisation that does not take cultural and linguistic nuances into account
  • Gross errors that undermine the credibility of both the content and the company

This is precisely where the expertise of a specialised translation company comes into play: validated terminology, adaptation to the local context, multilingual consistency, and structured quality processes.

How does the project worth over €100,000 illustrate this trust?

We closed 2025 with a project worth over €100,000 completed in record time, involving several European languages and a strong regulatory component.

This project illustrates:

  • The trust placed in us by a leading MedTech company
  • Our ability to handle high volumes in several languages
  • The coordination between specialised medical translators and seasoned project managers
  • The importance of quality, traceability, and meeting deadlines

Projects like this demonstrate that when the stakes are high, companies turn to a trusted partner rather than to fully AI-based solutions, and rightly so.

How does our presence at MedTech events strengthen our expertise in medical translations?

Why are MedTech events strategic for a translation company?

Staying at the forefront of medical translation requires more than language proficiency alone. Close attention must also be paid to:

  • Changes in regulations (MDR, IVDR, FDA, UKCA, etc.)
  • Trends in the MedTech market
  • The expectations of RA/QA, clinical, marketing, and PRRC managers
  • Product and technological innovations

That is why our team attended several key industry events in 2025.

Which MedTech events did we attend in 2025?

In 2025, AbroadLink participated in some of the best MedTech events in Europe:

What do these events reveal about our leadership in medical translation?

Our regular presence at these trade shows and conferences strengthens our position as:

  • An expert partner for medical and MedTech translations
  • A contact who understands the regulatory context as well as the linguistic aspects
  • A translation company that can communicate with RA/QA, clinical, and marketing teams

This approach allows us to offer not only translations but also practical advice on organising multilingual workflows and managing terminology.

Where will we be in 2026?

We will keep you updated on our participation at the various events. To stay up to date with AbroadLink news, follow us on LinkedIn.

We have kicked off 2026 with a new team member

Why are we expanding our administrative team in 2026?

Our expanding business and increasing project volume call for an even more structured internal organisation. To continue providing seamless and efficient service, it was essential to strengthen our administrative support.

Because of this, Andrea joined AbroadLink at the beginning of 2026.

Key takeaways from 2025

The year 2025 was marked by:

  • An increase in turnover despite competition from AI translation tools
  • Our proven ability to respond quickly to our clients’ needs
  • A strong presence at the key MedTech events in Europe
