Increase in turnover

AbroadLink's growth continues its momentum, maintaining positive progress in 2024. Five years ago, we experienced one of the worst health emergencies in decades. The COVID-19 crisis paralysed the entire world, hitting us hard and leaving us unable to estimate its duration or long-term impact. Amidst the chaos, the global economy was weakened, and some even spoke of a collapse. However, far from crushing the economy, this crisis actually gave it a new momentum...

The translation agency is among one of the companies that managed to ride the post-COVID wave to regain sustainable growth. On one hand, the healthy state of entire sectors of the economy brought new opportunities. On the other hand, AbroadLink was able to bounce back thanks to its resilience and adaptation.

Relevant strategic choices

Since 2002, AbroadLink has been supporting companies in their international business with a range of language solutions suited to their needs. Although the translation agency operates in many sectors, from finance to renewable energies, the pre-COVID period already marked a turning point in its trajectory. As part of its strategic vision, the company had chosen to specialise in the health sectors, notably in dentistry, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.

This proved to be a wise choice as these industries now represent a significant part of the work carried out by the company. The knowledge and experience gained over the years place AbroadLink as an expert in these fields.

Quality: our leitmotif

Changes in markets, tools, and techniques represent both opportunities and threats for individuals and companies. Recent technological developments are disrupting our daily lives, and Artificial Intelligence seems to be both a boon and a curse that could put us humans on the sidelines.

It is therefore important to understand these trends, plan ahead, and forge a strategic position. AbroadLink believes that it is necessary to adapt and live with AI without placing it on a pedestal.

Quality has always been at the heart of AbroadLink's strategy. By renewing all its ISO certifications at the beginning of 2025, the translation company reaffirms its desire to always offer the best possible quality of service and its commitment to human intervention in its processes. In this article, we discuss the importance of machine translation post-editing.

AbroadLink at the forefront

At the end of 2023, AbroadLink integrated a second CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tool into its toolkit: MemoQ. After working exclusively for years with the other heavyweight in the sector, SDL Trados, the company wishes to have all the means necessary to stay at the forefront of technology and uphold its commitment to quality.

AbroadLink is growing!

As mentioned earlier, AbroadLink does not intend to rely solely on technology. Alongside the integration of the MemoQ CAT tool, five new people have also joined the company's ranks to handle its growth and new incoming demands.

Representing the core business of the company, it is the Project Management Department that has benefited the most from these new hires, in addition to the Sales Department. Further arrivals are planned from May 2025, notably in the Marketing & Communication Department.
